The end of one thing is the birth of another. JD Twitch and JG Wilkes, better known as Optimo have decided to put a hold on thier legendary sunday residency at Sub Club in Glasgow but are starting a new night called "Optimo Presents... Shake It Up" where they invite guests to play.

To celebrate, Glasgow's Lucky Me has a Optimo guest mix for your ears only!

Optimo are also doing a mix for the fabric live series, Fabric 52, out May 10th 2010. Concentrating more on a dance floor vibe rather than their usual combo of seamlessly mixing any genre they fancy. The pair recently told Resident Advisor "It's our idea of what we'd play solely for when we want to get people dancing, when we’re not trying to freak people out."
